My opinion: Regular trooper- easy to use, not overly powerful but good enough
Shotgunner- good damage if you know how to use the class properly, somewhat hard to get used to
Rocket trooper- good damage+ splash (good if your aim is bad), low ammo (bad if your aim is bad), mines (easy hero+tank+anything killer)
Sniper- great damage if you can no-scope, otherwise hard to use

i like the Rocket trooper because it does a lot of damage and is easy to use, and i dont worry to much about ammo because i die a lot :P just wondering what the rest of you thought.

I've started with regular trooper and played like this for... 1 year I think. Then you can try engineer and sniper. Heavy trooper.. well. I love using it but wihthout damn cool reflex and skill and ability to predict someone's moves running into a couple of players is just a suicide. Poor results give you also trhrowing mines "where you want to". Just remember to throw 'em when you are sure that more than 1 player will step in it. So, you know, hard way to spawnkill good and survive but also get points not by spawnkilling. But I will cheer you, few more years and you'll be skilled! Maybe in 2014, who knows!

Any player who continuously rolls should probably just save everyone the trouble of killing him and not spawn.
[04:25] -SR-Mandalore: who pitches and who catches
[04:29] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: We'll do it in turns.
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: That sounds super fair
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: Do you think other gay couples do that?
[04:30] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: I reckon so.

I, personally, don't roll much at all. It makes me dizzy. :whistling:

I roll in any fight but never 24/7.

I ussually do it to confuse enemies, or to do my personal det ambush(wich has never missed up till now)
This also works doing the Frag,Roll/dodge,frag thing against multiple enemies at the same time (with single units i just change weapons every 0.75 seconds :gunsmilie: )

When i feel i want to rush a little just to see the corpses fly, then i move in a CP get everyones atencion and start rolling.
Most players don't have the skills to hit me and they start to sorouwnd me.

So when they are next to me, a small rush can turn the whole thing.

I've found out that if you run straight at people as a bothan they will be so suprised that they wont shoot and then you get an easy kill.
Bothans are also effective on the tunnels in hoth.

Bothans always fry me from behind. My only recourse (other than dying 99% of the time), is to drop a mine right were I am and sometimes the Bothan will run right over it as he's following me...Ka-BOOM!

Using bothan is difficult and the timing "when switch off visibility and turn it on in right moment" is so crucial that without that you're lost but I can't deny that satisfaction by killing with bothan is great. If you get like 2-3 meters to the opponent he's yours, but if he saw the movements of the air or has a good reflex... then you dies. I wouldn't recommend this class for beginners ;)
