I gathered Rawler was saying that 'we' (the Americans) killed millions, where as Bin Laden killed just thousands...therefore, we Americans are somehow much worse than Bin Laden.
Rawler, with all due respect, I think you are mixing apples and oranges here. Americans have pretty much always been 'provoked' into War over its existence. Many (millions) were killed over time, sure, but not just by us, but by many other countries who also are to blame for the deaths in those wars. These days, this 'War on Terrorism' was not started by us, but rather by crap-buckets like Bin Laden, whom attacked the U.S. first...many times in fact,
prior to 9/11, by killing U.S. service people, civilians and destroying other structures overseas. We had enough after 9/11, got us a President with some 'balls' (George W. Bush), declared a War on Terror, and went after them.
As Narg referenced, there are numerous other countries over the past century alone, that 'murdered' their own people, and innocent people from other nations, outside any 'rules of decency or normal wartime behavior'. (China, the Soviet Union, Germany under Hitler, Cambodia, etc). So saying a U.S. President 'ordered' the death of millions, let alone just thousands, is totally ignorant. If Bin Laden had the resources, he would have killed every American (Hundreds of Millions) as well as any other foreigner his screwed up mind didn't agree with. Perhaps you meant something else, idk...or you may be reading a bunch of crap (at school?)..Online?) written by morons...No offence...seriously.
