Hell, I hope it does vibrate!
As far as the side buttons; not awkward. You hit them on the regular gamepad with your thumb anyways. The regular left and right buttons emulate the R1 and R2 so its very close to the PS controller, just way easier to aim proper with the mouse than a little analog stick. The left controller also has a button to throttle down the mouse sensitivity if its too high.
