I wanted to be gay, but they wont let me let me in the club.

Sorry about the GPS tracking question, I phrased it wrong. I meant it to be a much broader topic. GPS tracking is not just a US thing, in Britain your life is recorded on CCTVs cameras, there are speed and traffic light camera's everywhere, and a few countries run their telecommunications through the government so they can spy on their people. So the true questions I was attempting to pose is this. Where does the need for privacy stop and the need for security begin. Are we going overboard by spying on our own people, or our we not going far enough? Companies I work with face this all the time, random drug tests, logging Internet activities, checking emails, background checks, credit checks, and other activities. 99% of the people in this world walk through life with good intentions, but what does is require to stop the bad people? Of all the questions and issues facing our society, I think this is the defining one for us all. The rate at which we can create, consume, and retain this type of information is increasing by leaps and bounds. How does it make you feel that your life maybe recorded?

Right after 9-11, I was willing to give up some liberties for security. Unfortunately, once you lose your liberties, rarely will they be returned to you.

Actually, I posted that because I interpreted your post as an intentionally childish joke, so mine was of the same intended tone. Of course, if what you said was your attempt at being serious then I withdraw my statement and I suggest you lighten up.
