I need some help with Xfire

Postby fightingclam » Sun Jul 03, 2011 10:12 pm

Ok, here's my situation. I installed Xfire, and apparently I wasn't supposed to. I've noticed my ping has risen, but only just a bit. I still get lag, and I'm wondering if it's my computer, or the servers I play on? (JBA, Merc, HA-DC) If this is a issue with my computer, then how do I uniinstall/get rid of Xfire?
Thanks,
-Clam :star-wars-smiley-026:

EDIT: Has Xfire created any extra noticable lag for you guys that have it?

Xfire can create lag for you especially if you are using an older computer or have a slow connection.
It takes up processing power, memory, and bandwidth.

People like me with a decent computer and great connection don't notice any difference with or without xfire running.
Politeness is a discipline that compels respectful behavior. Morality is like a politeness of the soul, an etiquette of the inner life, a code of duties, a ceremonial of the essential.

After I started using xfire, I noticed I was lagging more, I simply sacrificed some graphic quality, and less lag for me. :punk:

How do you reduce the graphic qualities? This is a :wheelchair: moment

When you load the main SWBF2 menu, go to options, then video, change everthing to low except for view and LOD distance. (Thos are my settings anyway, experiment.)
