As I'm sure a few here will recognize by my name, I have recently taken the Lead Admin position for the Mercenary Gaming servers following some heavy restructuring in our ranks. I know the actual Merc leadership has, previously, been more than a little difficult to get ahold of - something I am actively changing. The old Merc ways are gone, and the new ways are settling in.

Open lines of communication are a wonderful thing. :)

So, in that regard, for any members, Admins or others, feel free to contact me should you ever have any general questions about Merc, issues or complaints with our servers or Admins - or any of my Merc players - or just want to say 'Hi'. That's cool too. :)

You can PM me here (I'll be checking in fairly regularly to see what my sister servers are up to) or by Xfire (shalandai). For those who may be inclined, we do also have our own forums at mercenarygamingonline.com.

Nightmare's still around, just less with the summer. He's actually been spending quite a bit of time in those dreaded outdoors, playing "fuutball" as he calls it.

Yes, the rumour mill has been hard at work for a bit, I know.

In the most simplistic terms, Merc was not in a good state. Leadership was unreachable, admin 'abuse' was rampant (though, in fairness, the term abuse is not entirely correct - rather a very vague simplification encompassing a multitude of issues), and the structural organization of Merc had allowed our ranks to swell with (and tolerate ) members whose behaviour & conduct, frankly, was an embarassment to our tag.

So, in summary, Merc had become a mess, and a joke. It has been, and will continue to be, my goal to return Merc to its proper state as a respectable and legitimate clan, populated by decent, respectable and sporting players & admins alike.
