Although you wouldn't want blatant spamming for stuff like selling Viagra..... I'd humbly suggest to you not to get to bent out of shape when the folks in the forum go off on tangents to have a bit of fun. I mean, why do the forums exist if not as a place for the gamers to hang out and have a little bit of fun chatting back-n-forth. It is kinda nice if people stay on topic, but the forum archives aren't exactly the library of Congress that needs to be well indexed, on topic, etc....

There are some among us (and perhaps I was even one of these at one time) that feel lots of threads need to be locked and order needs to be created from the chaos that exists in forum posts. Personally, I think it's a silly/wasted effort in all except the extreme spambot or abuser that just won't shutup kind of situations.



In other words, don't sweat it man... and if the moderator du jour disagrees with me and locks this thread then I promise not to lose any sleep over it either. :) And never forget that a lot of threads going off on tangents is better than a dead forum where nobody posts much of anything.

P.S. The only reason I've been watching this thread for so long is to see if MC had some witty comeback to what WD and then I had posted... :) the fact that he's exercised his 5th amendment in this siutation, well.....

Normally i don't care how much people go off topic.
But there are "certain" threads where you Soudn't go off topic
This is one of them, and it started with an apology and ended in narg wanting to give drai herpes?
I recon it's funny, but not for the person who made this.

Just asking here, how many troublemakers, or former hackers have come to the forums asking for forgiveness?
All i see is a bunch of old threads related to topics as "i'm banned for no reason" and in most of them the banning admin has to ASK for an apology.
See drai came here just to give an apology, did he ask to be unbanned? no, all he did was asking for forgiveness.
And to be honest him doing that deserves at least a "little" respect, it's a human your talking to....not a bot.

So stop taking about herpes, and please can somone lock this [poo]? i think this topic is dead and has been ran over by a car several times

See drai came here just to give an apology, did he ask to be unbanned? no, all he did was asking for forgiveness. And he received more than a few replies which I am sure he expected anyway.

And to be honest him doing that deserves at least a "little" respect, it's a human your talking to....not a bot. He's had a little respect by the replies earlier in the thread. Did you think people were just going to welcome him back with open arms given what he did?

Look, let's put it this way. What if someone ran over your dog, and you called the cops on them, and they had to pay a fine. Now what if the guy came back like two years later, saying he was really sorry and that he would watch your new dog for you when you were out doing something? You'd laugh in his face, because that's really retarded. Except this case is even stupider, because the only hacker that's paid attention to SWGO is this guy. He is literally saying he'll protect us from all the hackers in the world... Except the only hacker that ever tried to [m'kay] with SWGO IS THIS [m'kay] GUY. Am I getting through to you, MT?

And just for reference, all those guys who asked forgiveness? They didn't do more than maybe glitch on the server a couple of times. This guy hacked the server. Perspective; get some.

In my humble opinion, life is just too short to take alot of what's posted too seriously...I mean, we're talking about a 'forum'...for a 'game'...and in this case, we're on a thread about a 'wannabe game hacker's apology. Okay, he apologized. We in turn either said 'we'll see what happens' or '[m'kay] off' to Drai.

Now, in the interest of having fun on a 'game's forum', if I see an opening to hijack a thread, I'm gonna take it, unless it involves due respect and decency. This thread doesn't qualify.

I understand that you see this as a serious er that should be treated with more respect, but the idea of Drai protecting us makes as much sense as an old bat who has dementia because they didn't treat their Syphilis. The level of respect a person deserves when repenting should be in relation to the reason why they need to repent in the first place.

However, you have a good point that its time to lock this puppy up because the point of the topic isn't being discussed anymore, and it has turned into a free-for-all. I won't do it though....
