MT, he's not the only hacker that everyone knows about, he was p/off due to not being able to get along with others, did not like the way others play (bet that rings a bell for a minority), abused his admin status and decided to attack SWGO. See the earlier part of the post from Koko also. I hope that clears it up. The topic in itself should highlight other's views on Drai's apology, if not then what's the previous 9 pages be on about?

Hacker in the context for the majority who don't know the difference between a hacker, cracker and script kiddie etc. I quite well aware of the differences btw as IT is the field I work in however for people who don't work in this field or having little understanding of it they define such individuals as hackers.

Drai is more like a script kiddie as he definitely used code learnt from others to run against the SWBF2 server and considering he was tracerable (very easily) he does not fall into the the other 2 categories and there are many other factors which put him into this category also. Even though he fails into this category the intitial impact of his action were unpleasant for the admins and gamers at the time.

Guys, the REAL Hackers, would never waste time hacking a server like BF2 is set up for. There's simply no challenge, and to 'admit' to the true professional Hacking community that you hacked a server like ours, would be hilarious because it's a joke. No challenge. If he or anyone can successfully hack into the Chinese military defense systems, now THAT is impressive! So like Haas said...'Script Kiddie' fits the description best here.
