Server Help Please

Postby TaTerToT » Sun Aug 07, 2011 7:26 pm

Hello
2 Questions Please, Thanks In Advance!

1.Where do you put mods for a server that's run at home, using Server Manager?

2. I'm having a problem putting in Server Announcements. When I click
the button to add them, it takes me to a blank Notepad. But I save it, but It don't work.
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Sincerely,
Tatertot

If you're running vista or win7, you should run it as administrator.
right click -> properties -> compatibility -> check "run this program as an administrator"

Your mods should be in this folder (assuming you have a x86 architecture OS): C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II PC Server\data\_LVL_PC\SIDE

However, there are some mods that go into a different directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II PC Server\data\_LVL_PC

After adding the announcements, make sure you click the checkbox first, and then click the save button. Then add your announcements and save again.
EXPERIMENT; FAIL; LEARN; REPEAT;
DEVELOP; MASTER; LIFE; COMPLETE.
