For those of you with parents that earn too much that you can't get enough Financial Aid to go to college.. I'm gonna give you a risky hint.. Find a partner (not to discriminate on gays in states where it is legal) that you trust wholeheartedly... and just get married... it makes your income the contingent for financial aid. I know this may go against the "sanctity" of marriage, but some people don't care about sanctity or religion or anything like that...
Hell I'll be honest, thats why my hubby and I bumped up our wedding..... and I wound up getting 50% of my education paid for by grants, etc. And the hubby was at a colossal disadvantage cause his family refused to file the fafsa forms with their info... so it was marriage or no education... and without his education we would be in colossal trouble!!

Well, my hint is not for everyone... And I often encourage people to marry for the right reasons. However, parents really don't have a right to judge their child's choice to marry for this reason if they neglected their responsibility to fill out their financial aid forms. Thankfully I had the "love" card in my back pocket. I fell in love with him when I was 16 and we married when I was 21.
