What's better is to look at another study that has shown that Conservatives are more generous than Liberals. To answer the inevitable questions this was proven true when looking at all income levels and comparing them that way, so no it's not that conservatives have more money. It's the Liberals that are the selfish rich people and selfish middle class people and selfish poor people.

I don't pay attention to any study involving two opposing groups. They're all skewed by the people who run them. I bet there are hundreds of studies say liberals are more generous, and an equal amount claiming conservatives are more generous.

Well this study was done by a group of college professors, so in all likelyhood it was biased towards liberals. If you don't care to believe it just look at the generosity of America compared to that of more liberal Europe, it's an easy dollar comparrison there. When the governement gets large people stop helping because it becomes the governements job. Why help feed the poor when all they need to do is go to the government for food stamps or why give a person to stay after a hurricane like Katrina when they can get a free trailer to live in from FEMA. I'm not against the government helping the needy, but it isn't a substitute for good people's generosity of time and money.
