"That is the most childish thing I've ever heard on these forums. "

You're the most childish thing I've ever SEEN on these forums.

Now that you've not-elegantly informed me that the prerequisites for giving tips is to succeed and get kills victory by any means necessary then I'll try and contribute something to this topic.

In force allowed hero assault, try doing some of these, if your only goal is to get a good score.

1.) If you're being SKed, don't spawn there again.
2.) If you're vills, try spawn camping the Two eastern hero spawns as the arena has more variation so it's more difficult to intercept someone there quickly.
3.) If you're heroes, try spawn camping the cantina and vills eastern CP.
4.) when spawn camping, make sure no one is sneaking up on you and be ready to run and hide behind other players who know how to play without being desperate.
5.) when spawn camping, make sure to stun your opponent as soon as they spawn, whether it be with choke, pull, push or a high powered dash/jump attack it's your choice, but make sure they can't move because then they'll have a chance to kill you, and who wants it to be a fair fight?
6.) If you want some kills, get good with maul, aayla and the fetts, as maul/aayla, run around the map (unless you're camping) and try and catch people when they don't know you're there, that way it will be to your advantage, pulling at least 2 times, preferably 4 or more with aayla and pushing with maul and spamming combos until you get a kill.
with fetts, hide behind domes and other rooftop cover so you can't be pulled easily, also, if they aproach you with a puller, run/fly, keeping low and concealed so they don't get to pull you until you reach a friendly player on your side.
7.) if someone who likes to rant and talk a lot while playing is on the server, follow them around so when they become still (you know they're typing) you can get an easy kill and you have an advantage.

well, that's generally what I advocate doing if your only aim to to get killz0rz.

Could a mod clean up this topic? It'd probably be best if you two take the discussion to PM's...

My best strategy is simply trial and error. Pick a character you want to become good at. Try it out, find out what works and what doesn't, watch other good players using it. Eventually, you should end up skilled (overall, not by any particular definition poses by former posts) with the character, and you'll find that many of those skills can be applied to the rest of the characters.

At some point (maybe in a couple weeks, during break) I might work on version 2 of my Grievous guide...

I didn't mean to personally attack you at all, and I did offer some advice. my advice would be that if you see someone especially awesome at a certain char, xfire them and ask them questions. every char is different. it's hard to give advice that pertains to all of them. however some advice can relate to every char. if you want this topic to be more of a guide, that would be a very good idea, I don't however see the need for every swgoer to be extremely skilled. I would suggest asking a mod to delete the flaming post(s) and then you could have the foundation of a guide where swgoers submit helpful tips and tricks which I believe was the original vision of what you wanted this thread to be. :D good luck with this!

I have a question about strategy, so i guess it belongs here...
On hero assault, my dashes as grevous are always short and i can stop them whenever I choose. However, if I go to a noforce server, sometimes they last forever even when I do not want them to (it seems that grevous glides more). Same applies in conquest; I once glided off of the mygeeto platform with a grevous dash that lasted an uncontrollable amount of time. Why does it do this on noforce servers and not hero assault, and how can I prevent it?

Thank you Chin. Believe it or not, I did ask a Site Admin to delete the argument posts, but he absolutely refused. He said there was no point. Feel free to make guides for certain characters. Tips, stradegies, tactics, tricks, methods, guides, vidoes, anything but glitches, are more than welcome on this thread.

Again, I request that the argument posts be deleted. Thank you.

JROD: Only click once when dashing. If you click more than once, it may continue into the long, weak, and uncontrollable dash you're trying to avoid. This is actually one of the first pieces of advice I give to anyone seeking to learn Grievous, because it's so commonly encountered. As for the difference between servers, perhaps it's registering the wrong number of clicks due to lag?

With Grievous, try going onto Single player and dashing with him with several clicks, I don't know about you but online my sabers lag so badly I can hardly tell what they'er doing lol, but I went into SP and did it and after the 1st part of the dash he kind of just keeps running with his arms outstretched in front of him doing nothing

I apologise for being an infantile douchebag.
