I can’t think of anything worse...

Postby THEWULFMAN » Tue Nov 15, 2011 2:24 pm

...after a night of drinking than waking up next to someone and not being able to remember their name, or how you met, or why they’re dead.

Can you?

I'm pretty sure there are worse things...iv'e seen worse things and i'd prefer not to think of them
Also, forgetting what or how is better then remembering, memories hurt, and they will keep hurting...long lasting pain there are things time will not erase.

Sometimes i wish i could erase memories :-|
Also we need a cry smiley :wheelchair:

The past is like a ghost to me. I pretend it doesn't exist, dwelling in it isn't healthy. I even forget the good memories too. I forget the good memories because I'll definitely be missing what I had back then. I probably wont look back at the good memories until I get my stability back. I concentrate on the present and future now.

Anyway, ontopic:

I can't think of anything worse than waking up in a coffin and you're buried underground.

Life is too short too worry about the things you can't change. There is humor in any situation, you just have to look for it.

^^I completely concur with this... even tho my life has sucked the last few days, I'd take it over 99% of all people on earth. Hell, I'd probably take it over anybody on earth. it's my life.

Very true.
I lived in Africa for several years, the house being on a hill (middle-upper class area) in viewing distance from the ghettos (less than 1 mile away if my memory is correct). Having went there on several occasions seeing how people had to live in these conditions made me value what I have (seeing other horrific things as well). Since then, I'm fine with the simplest of things. Every time I feel down I have to think about that time in Africa and realize that others have it much, much worse.

There are those that say a cup is half empty, others say it's half full.
There are also those that say the cup is twice the necessary size.
And some argue that the cup is always full regardless.

Cheers
