Chat hacking is when someone manipulates an in-game tweak that allows him/her to get the cursor below the text box and say whatever he/she wants to.

For example: Say there was a person named "zxchk", and for some reason he decided to chat hack me. He would:

(1) Type a normal message like "lol"
(2) Use the in-game tweak that I mentioned earlier and get the cursor below the text box
(3) Finally, he would type my name (SirPepsi) a colon (:) and whatever he wanted to make it look like I said.

The end result would probably be something like this:

zxchk: lol
SirPepsi: The admin is stupid!

He would have made it look like I typed "The admin is stupid" when I really didn't. Of course, the person who chat hacked made it looked like I said A LOT worse things then "The admin is stupid!"

That's not really chat hacking, more like faking chat, although both are now clumped together under the same rule.

If you do the above fake chat, you'll be caught 100% of the time.
