Please don't post in french without using proper grammar, it's painful to read.

Since almost everyone here will probably go to google translate after reading stew's comment, I'll do it for you.

@ WD-40, I appreciate the respect. :) However, the website I showed you polls several different groups, and at several different times. Many people polled are of voting age. Although, yes, the younger generation supports marriage equality in much more numbers than the older population. However, one vote is one vote, and the younger voters have the right to stand for what they believe, do they not? :punk:

Edit: I re-read what I wrote, and there is way too much 'dark side' in it, and I apologize. Personally, I've got absolutely nothing against 'homsexuals'. It is what it is, are are who they are. I 'do' have a problem of voters who are seemingly too young to vote. Many, not all, just have zero life experience, no ambition or are very ignorant of what goes on in the world, especially those who quite literally live in the basement on their xbox, and/or are 'programmed' what to believe by their teachers at schools/universities. I know all to well that the 'gay' community's issues are one of the things the ACLU tackled, and is probably the biggest. I just don't believe they defend liberties for the sake of defending liberties. Greed is a powerful force in the world.

For those that claim that ACLU is a corrupt self-centered money hungry organisation that doesn't care about liberties...
Don't single the ACLU out. There are many more organisations that do the same ridiculous things (on both sides).

Example:
The FFA (Florida Family Association) has protested the reality TV Show 'All American Muslims', making sure that several companies/corporations pull out their ads from the show. David Caton (Leader/Executive Director of the FFA) says that the FFA is protesting the Show because it doesn't show the extremist side of Muslims. "For TLC to choose to profile five people as an aberration of the Islamic faith is propaganda."
Here is the article: http://newsfeed.time.com/2011/12/13/flo ... -protests/

The FFA mostly promotes values of Evangelical Christians.

The only way to find what the majority of Americans prefer , what their views are and what organisations they support is if Voting was mandatory for everyone at the age 18 & above. Of course that would never happen...

Cheers

Don't single out the aclu? Are you friggin kidding me? Ffa is laughable- most people haven't heard of them and certainly nobody cares what they say. Apples and oranges there.
The aclu wastes time, money, and resources everywhere they go (and they go everywhere).

To whom it may concern:

Apparently, I was ignorant of this fact. The ACLU is a term used to refer collectively to two separate entities. Both these factions fight for the same cause, but are different.

From what I gather, the ACLU Foundation is a corporate entity, and if you make donations to it, they are tax-deductible. The American Civil Liberties Union is apparently a non-profit organisation. I am not really sure what to make of this, so Yanoda, if you wouldn't mind interpreting this for me  : http://www.aclu.org/american-civil-liberties-union-and-aclu-foundation-what-difference

Hey guys, without the ACLU we wouldn't be able to watch our 'indecent' pornography.
