I have submitted a support ticket.
I ran about 50 trace routes this morning and have found one bad hope on about 1 out of 10 traces.

If you notice you're having more lag than usual on JBA, please do the following.

Open a command prompt (Start->accessories->command prompt)
Type in:
tracert 207.210.252.101

If there are any hops with pings above about 80ms then it might be a network problem.

If they let that server go, then the points would be gone for that server.

If it gets rid of lag on JBA, it'll be totally worth it! :punk:

I received this reply:
It looks like your having packet loss on the 14th and 16th hop, which is in the middle. This problem is something that neither one of us can fix, it would be up to the one that is running the router. Usually these things get fixed on their own after the owner of the router gets phone calls about the issue. But if you don''t want to wait we can move you to another datacenter location which would re-route you around that issue.
Would you be interested in that? *or* do you want to wait it out?

My response:
I would only consider moving if the external IP address and port would stay the same.
Isn't this something the data center should contact Level3 about?

So it is possible this packet loss issue will be solved shortly, if it has not been already.

I would also add that I almost never experience any lag on JBA.
I asked several times yesterday when the server was full and nobody reported having any lag.
True server lag can be intermittent and most of the time is experienced by all players on the server.

If you are experiencing lag it's important you run the tracert to find out where it's coming from. If you want to post it without revealing your IP just deleted the first two hops, or you can PM it to me.
