Nice. Wish I has cash like that to burn. My laptop is nice, but can't play most games made in the past year without lag, at medium settings( Skyrim can only be played at low settings(textures on high though) with the use of a Borderless Windowed Mode mod ). I'd get a new graphics card but that [poo]'s integrated. Dammit. Lol.
I'm James, the Executive Director of Frayed Wires Studios. Check out our page for info on all our mods. We're the developers of mods like Mass Effect: Unification, and many others.

I can run Skyrim on medium with no AA on this setup, but I figured since I have a good bit of money to burn that I might as well grab something nice for myself before trucking off to college. Pretty excited to actually play games on max settings with good FPS, it might legitimately blow my mind.

Sorry to tell ya though, comp will probably be outdated in 2 years or so...seeing how they keep coming up with better (and costly) hardware. The minute you upgrade...they come out with something to make your upgrades "dinosaurs". It's all part of the game. I also heard that companys that make electronic consumer goods are placing "timers" in their products that after reaching a certain time, the product "fails". Designed to break.

Sorry, I thought the post was about how he used his inheritance. My inheritance is still intact. So many things I want to do with it...and quite frankly, I can't get myself to spend it. Countless of times I've picked up something at a store (laptops, TV's, even at the car dealership), only to change my mind at the last second. I have kids so I always think about them before I purchase anything. I did spend alittle of it...it was while vacationing in NY city, but it's mostly intact.

So then.... are you gonna join us in BF3 then?

Only problem I see is that playing in a server would probably overstress your trolling abilities. (i.e. we've been allowing the server to be a total free-for-all when it comes to non-hacking behavior).
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics stink!

Once I get the new computer, definitely. And besides, I keep all my trolling fuel for these forums, and these forums alone. Afraid there shouldn't be any hilarious moments in BF3, unless there happen to be ATVs around.

...There are, right?

My inheritance is 8,000 dollars, so buying a PC is pretty much all I can do without just wasting all my cash. You make me feel inheritance envy, sir.
