My favorite authors are Douglas Adams, Larry Niven, and Arthur Clarke. If fact, I'm going back and reading some of Niven's books that I missed...the prequels to the Ringworld series (my favorite series). The prequels aren't as good as the originals, but they do fill in some back-story a bit.

Yes I've read all of them: 2001, 2010, 2061, and 3001. Great stuff!
