forum signatures not working

Idk if that's what it was or not, but most of my smilies remain hidden since the last update...

My old signature worked fine last week. When I changed it for an updated version, I got an error stating the size could not be determined. After the error, I couldn't even revert to my old signature. The size restrictions are 600x200. My signature is well below that. Not sure what's going on. Going to google the error........

PHP is actually out of date, so I won't be making any more wild accusations of the dictator.
Idk what would've changed this. I don't see anything in the logs that points a finger at anyone else either. Very strange, indeed.

I'm certainly not trying to point fingers, and in the big scheme of things it's not a big deal, but it is slightly annoying so any help from anyone who knows php would be great.

Well I lost most of my files in an electrical storm when I was living in Puerto Rico (with APC and battery backup!). My new site is done I just have no content to fill it with lol.

I did find a way to bypass the signature error by simply converting my signature to a Flash file.

The phpbb code for a flash signature should look like this:

[*flash=600,138]url link here[/flash]

Remove the asterisk between the [ and f. Then input the dimensions after the "=" sign and seperate the dimensions with a comma, not an "x". Keep in mind the signature dimensions should not exceed 600x200 (forum rules).

Doooooooooooooood. I'll hook you up with a sig. But I can't do a flash one right now, I just don't have the time. I got stuck restoring over 300 photos that were damaged in a house fire. But I can do a non animated one for you. It would be a welcome break actually. PM me the details and I can make it happen! Later I will make it animated.
