SWBF1 cd-key not authorized

I get a feeling someone may have opened the SWBF1 box, took the CD key, put the stuff back in the box, and then used that CD key to do Bad Things and get themselves banned with it in SWBF1.

If you're unable to use it due to cd key, just exchange it. Target may not return software though.....

They will if it's a defected item, regardless if its software or not. I've done it before. No cash refund, only exchanges on software, (unless they can't replace it).

Not saying that this is probably the cause, and 95% of the time, it is usually not.

However, you could have been in the middle of the Gamespy server for swbf1 (the master server) to be down for maintenance and what not. When this happens, the cd-key may or may not work, usually the latter.

Thank you all for the help. I looked up a cd-key on google. Just to be sure I'm gonna return th old one to target. Sry to be off topic, but long time no see Talon! :)
