The first game I used it for was gta3 on the pc- not fps so it was simple. But there was a sniping mission I spent about 100 hers failing and finally had to switch to the mouse for that one part. Killed it first try.

Controllers are infinitely smoother, imo.

[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: Do you think other gay couples do that?
[04:30] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: I reckon so.

I'm having a problem with it wanting to drift. I've always had a little but this time it's pretty bad. Any suggestions?

Increase the joystick dead zone to about 7 or 8. It cut's down on the sensitivity but there is no drift anymore.

I have my dead zone at 9 and the joystick sensitivity at 8

I have always used a keyboard and thumb wheel mouse. Never made any adjustments from the default controls, either

I use controller and mouse, PS style controller from logitech to Sony to generic.
I basically move my character, sprint, and target from the controller (holding it with one hand), then use a multi button mouse for the rest. Works for me...
Politeness is a discipline that compels respectful behavior. Morality is like a politeness of the soul, an etiquette of the inner life, a code of duties, a ceremonial of the essential.

that sound much to complicated, I just use the basic controls with a basic gamers mouse/keyboard.

The exact same method I use. I enjoy the mouse for aiming, shooting etc, but hate the keyboard for moving.
