Grew up in SoCal but have been a Mariners fan for my whole life. The past 6-7 years have been depressing, to say the least.

Ever since the whiny little pusses went on strike all those years ago over salaries etc, I've had no respect for Baseball Players. Overpaid and under-worked. Personally, every Owner should have fired the whole damn lot of them, set a salary cap, then brought up the Minor league Players. Today, we'd have affordable tickets, affordable food, affordable beer, and new Baseball heros. The way it should be. :gunsmilie:

Oh my. Sorry Bueno, I can't agree with that. They are some terrific players, but this is a team that included Willy Mays, Willie Macovey, and Will Clark. Those are just the Wills :lol:

I grew up watching guys like Will Clark, Matt Williams, Kevin Mitchell, Robby Tompson. Those were my favorites, of course I like the guys on the current team, I mean they won the Series 2 years ago, and of course there is Barry Bonds. Despite all the crap surrounding him he was still a great player. (Let's not all get off topic about the steroids :roll:

) Anyway, Posey and Sandavol are good/great, but they have a long shadow to come out under from.

Oh I've heard of Mays, and Bonds, but I don't know this others. That was all way before I was even born
