So God says "This I have to see"
Accepting the challenge the scientists bend down and scoop up some dirt "we'll start from scratch"
"Not so fast." says God "Go make your own dirt"

Alright, despite how aggressively [m'kay] stupid this is, i'm going to try and be nice for this one.

You should not be in this discussion at all. You are like twelve years old. Any arguments you make will either be stupid, or regurgitated from words people smarter than you have spoken. You are still under the impression that scientists are trying to "play God", for some reason thinking that trying to do so would actually piss God off, and neither of these ideas are actually your own.

Also, now that I think about it, if I was literally the only [m'kay] God and I created a bunch of people, it probably wouldn't be just to watch them do stupid [poo] all the time. I'd probably be looking for someone to stop sucking and get on my level so I could have some [m'kay] company.

Yay, necro! Can't have that troll thread overtaking our page count, after all...

After "This I have to see" the original experiment would get derailed by the vastly more important matter at hand, namely that these scientists have a good chance of collecting hard evidence of God's existence. Seriously, people have been doing science to that effect as long as we've had methods for doing so. They haven't found anything acceptable, but they've certainly tried.

Yay, more!

I shall make a silly argument as well now!
If God created the Universe, what created God? Can't have a creation without a creator! Hurr Durr.

Cheers

You doubt the ability of an omnipotent deity to handle a simple, stable bootstrap-paradox loop? Clearly he created himself.

Well, let's say that the words I just typed gain sentience. Their entire civilizations and species are all doing their best to figure out why they exist, and what made it that way. The true answer is so mundane and so far beyond their comprehension that they will absolutely under no circumstances come to the correct conclusion. And even if they manage to figure it out, how could they possibly express the idea that they're just floating around in a hypothetical space while surrounded by an entire new dimension they've never even imagined?

That's what I think happened. Image

Or God has always been in existence. It's something that is hard for our minds to comprehend. Just because you can't prove that God does exist with "hard evidence" or logical theory, doesn't mean he could not possibly exist

I'm somewhat shocked that Narg and I share very similar opinions. Not to say that you, Narg, are unintelligent. It's just that few people seem to share my views. So, awesome. :punk:
