Col. Homestar wrote:I haven't changed any of your quotes or postings.
I didn't state you edited my postings, but that you edited posts. Another baseless claim.
Col. Homestar wrote:Your the one who can't seem to get the quote tabs to work correctly. Everytime you make another post it gets more jumbled together.
And you seem to also miss adding quotes. Seems I am not the only one making mistakes.
Col. Homestar wrote:I have all the evidence I need for my beliefs you have all yours.
Bible: Ancient text that has been modified, altered and cherry picked over the course of 2 millenia. Do not forget that there are many sub religions that interpret the Bible differently.
Watchmaker Argument: Cannot be used as evidence... since there is no evidence, just argumentation.
Col. Homestar wrote:It's different because many refuse to believe in God because they feel he is responsible for the evil we see today. They assume he is not going to do anything about it. Knowing the origins of evil allows someone to accept the situation we find ourselves in today. In a world surrounded by the influence of the devil.
Yanoda wrote:Where is the statistics that back up that claim? As far as know, many do not believe in a God because they do not believe in it, very definition of Atheist.
Col. Homestar wrote:This part I didn’t understand. That may be why atheists don’t believe in God, but not everyone is an atheist. I did not state that was how everyone felt. D Crater asked why my beliefs about the devil helps…..that’s why. Come on Yanoda, I should have to be getting on you to read the whole statement and keep it in context. Statistics, you need statistic to know that’s one of the reasons people don’t believe in God, you’re even using it in an argument right below this line. You deflect an argument that you have no response to by asking for evidence, don’t be hypocritical.
The definition of Atheist is not believing in Deities. There are many reasons why Atheists do not believe in Deities, not just that they believe that God created the Devil as you claim.
I asked you to provide something (statistics) to validate your claim. You refuse, you say I need to provide statistics validating my claim Atheists do not believe in God since they do not believe in it (which by definition of 'Atheist' is already given), they may have their reason 'why they don't believe' but I didn't state that. Then you say I deflect an argument by asking for evidence.
This clearly indicates your blatant hypocrisy.
Col. Homestar wrote:We can each bury our heads in our respective holes. And BTW insulting? Look at the titles to your videos you post, then come back and talk to me about insulting.
I see no indication of you providing evidence, only arguments based on claims. Mind listing a few evidences you provided since I'm clearly too

And before you claim I quote mined:
Col. Homestar wrote: At times I feel (as I'm sure you do too) like I'm talking to a wall, er I mean a deaf and blind person since you don't like to compare objects with people
Col. Homestar wrote:EDIT: @ Crater please show me one scientific fact that I posted where I bent the data to conform to my argument.
Here you go.
Col. Homestar wrote:I'll start with this one. You like to claim (since science being based solely on what can be proved) that there must be no God because there is no evidence to support this. Yet When I look all around myself and see, this planet that we live on, the absolute perfect conditions for sustaining human life, and down to the very fact that I am alive, I attribute that as proof and evidence of a higher power and creator. Please don't tell me I can not see this as evidence, because of evolution.
Yanoda wrote:We do not live in perfect conditions, life (organisms etc.) have adapted to the environment to cope with it. We have natural disasters, the Universe is a harsh place (more than 99% of the known universe is not habitable, statistically).
70% of the Planet's surface is covered by sea water, 97% of water is saline which we cannot drink from.
Fresh water is about 2.5% of the total water we have, almost 70% of that is ice.
The planet has roughly only 13% arable land of the land surface, 5% that can support permanent crops.
The conditions of the planet is not perfect by far. Only small areas are decent for us to live on. Don't forget the mass extinctions that occurred in the past. Life adapts to the environment.
Col. Homestar wrote:Not perfect? As you say the rest of the universe is uninhabitable, I would think that fact alone should prove my case.
