And Panama, since when does being a part of the lower-middle class automatically make you an expert in the fields of government and macroeconomics?

Sooo What changed? 1. How do you think that calling someone part of the lower middle class is going to sound? 2. Why would someone who is part of that class not be allowed to comment on those fields. 3. Like Panama said, how the heck do you know him. and 4. what does bringing social status up help for your case?

Just food for thought, but the 2nd amendment was written in a very different time period. Weaponry, culture, and population size have all changed drastically. Isn't gun control just a method to modernize the outdated concept of total "right to bear arms?"

The founding fathers of our country knew that one day, our government is going to get out of control and loose the values they wanted in their America. This isn't an if, it's a when. It's simply how government's life cycles go. Eventually they will take too much power, encroach on our freedoms. If that happens, it's our job as united states citizens to rise up and unseat the government so that we can start anew.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.

Too many gun control laws prevents us from being able to do what we need to do when the time comes.

I have generally avoided this thread, and will pretty much continue to do so, as it is one of those thread topics where someone, somewhere, will get butt-hurt, and nobody will ever win because this is the internet.

Though, sadly, I did have to halfheartedly glance through as it seems to be one of the only threads being posted in. And it has again reminded me of how eternally thankful I am that I was not born American.

I believe what he was implying was that every other developed nation in the world has far fewer gun-related crimes than the United States, and almost all of these countries (such as the one he lives in) have very strict gun control policy. Again, I'm not supporting his claim, for comparing the USA and Europe is like comparing apples and oranges.

You are a kid and this has nothing to do with "your argument being better". It has to do with how you carry yourself as a "self rigtheous" jerk. You haven't learned anything yet until you lived life. But I guess you know it all already because you were an "A" student in high school. I can make bold statements because I lived what I talk about, while you read it in a book. And yes, I do know more than you because of my age, I've seen more, I've done more, and I've "learned" more than you. I have an Art Major (Commercial Art) and after I accomplished that, went to school for Electronics (one year course, not a degree). So your assumption to place me in a social class was very pompous of you. If I believe in saving the whales, does that make me an Eskimo? You have alot to learn kid.
