I'm mainly referring to the bigger intellects, those who have contributed a lot to society. For example, Sir Isaac Newton is revered as the father of modern physics. I'm not sure since when "revered" has become a word associated with fanaticism almost... Meh.

Yes, I agree that the current education system in the U.S. does have a lot of flaws. It's a bureaucracy that maintains the status quo by preparing kids for jobs in the socioeconomic class they are born into rather than educate. That's why one must fight it! And you're obviously not good with people, at least on this forum, since you tend to resort to insults and stuff to get a message across to another person, so I'm guessing you're not very successful?
