I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that. Is there a set of rules or code of conduct here outlining what can and cannot be done by members that is available for everyone to see? I don't mean to be rude or anything, but if that is the case, then I won't do any of those things again if you would let me stay on this forum.

I might have lied about my identification, but who hasn't on the Internet? And I kind of did contribute by making posts (that has nothing to do with my identification), even if the contributions weren't very big. I didn't attack people or insult anyone, at least I hope not.

You were pretending to be a REAL person. That person that you were impersonating is PISSED, and rightfully so. I won't ban this account immediately, but if it is agreed by the support staff that is something you will have to accept. You made your own bed, don't you think you should have to lie in it? Did this guy explicity say that he was "Nathan Mates" in real life?...creating a username called "Nathan Mates" doesn't necessarily mean that he claimed to be the actual Nathan Mates...

In this particular case though, I would be inclined to ban because Nathan Mates is a SWBF2 developer. If I named myself "Barack Obama" I don't think I'd be guilty of impersonation: in this case however, I feel that he is an impersonator

I apologize for impersonating him, but I only did it because someone else used him as a figure of authority to provide false information about SWBF2, which if this Nathan Mates is really him, the actual staff programmer who worked on the game (because who knows, there could be more than one person named Nathan Mates), would know that it is not true.

Tell me Mr. Mates/Outrider/Pandemic when you log on claiming to be a specific real person how does that show you have good intentions. It shows that you're willing to steal an identity to somehow win an argument that really wasn't important. If you're willing to do that, why should anyone trust you with anything?
Sure SWGO has it's share of dummies and trolls and if they step over the line they get dealt with, but we know who they are. You one the other hand claimed to be someone you're not right from the start. No one knows you, and no one wants to know someone they don't think they can trust.

Yes, actually. Nathan Mates was one of the developer/programmers that worked hard to bring us this game called SWBF2. It might not be perfect, but I still play and enjoy it to this day, and he has inspired me to create my own content for the game. And I don't think I badmouthed his name when I used it as my own or anything.

And also, if you look over the posts I made during my time here as Nathan Mates, I don't ever once claim directly that was THE Nathan Mates. If I was really that audacious, then I would have created a topic in the "Say Hello" topic and provided information about Mr. Mates (I believe he has a developer page somewhere...), which I didn't.
