Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with Dad on this one.

Let's go back to discussing this thread's title, not ranting on about which party's ideology is superior, since they both suck in their own unique ways.

No one was ranting about the ideological superiority of any political party...

It's kind of hard to discuss the U.S. Presidential Election without politics when politics is so well embedded in the government. And politics isn't necessarily associated with government in general.

And for the record, Mitt Romney isn't officially the Republican candidate yet, so there's still a slight chance that things will change.

Yep! Ross Perot has come back to haunt us by dividing the votes even more and giving the election to the Democrats.
