Thanks for the update JP. But tell you what, since George is so into digitally re-mastering stuff, he needs to digitally re-master Haden Christianson's sub-par acting ability, and cut Jar-jar completely out and just have nothing there in his place. Doubt he'd be missed, and it probably wouldn't hurt the movies at all.

He's just trying to make the movies flow together. I like the added stuff. It makes them into new movies

It subconsciously lets general audiences know that he's same the Vader at the end of RotS.

Most likely or close, given that the Phantom Mence in 3D was released a day earlier than in the United States.

Oh get your pseudo-psych the hell out of here, that doesn't even make sense. You know what lets audiences know that it's the same Vader? The fact that they look exactly the same, speak in the same voice, and keep the same role. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO just feels like a clumsy little tacked on joke that i'd expect from Family Guy.

What Vader did in RotS near the end was out of character, unlike anything done by him in the Original Trilogy. Since George Lucas was already changing the Original Trilogy to match the Prequel Trilogy, rather than the other way around , the addition to RotJ bridged Vader's "no" yelling between the two trilogies. It was Vader's first time in his suit yelling "no" and then the last time in his suit yelling "no," thus wrapping up his character. And I'm not sure why you feel the need to use fighting words in the all the rebuttals you make, as if you feel threaten. Just get straight to the point without all the charades on the side.

It was Lucas' way of thumbing his nose at all his fans who hate what he did with the prequels. There was no need to close Vader's character or make it come full circle. Him saying NO like that in E3 was out of character? How then does making him go back out of character in E6 make it better? It just make Vader who was this Super Bad Villain we all know into this whining little kid crying because he committed genocide of a bunch of Sand People.
It's a power trip showing that these are his movies he can change what he wants so everyone can just deal with it. Why else would he insist that every other unchanged copy be pulled from the selves in stores and destroyed?

Unfortunately I do have a lot of contempt for the newer movies so I am pretty bias against the new stuff from Lucas. This video actually shows good examples why the prequels are soooo bad. It's a 7 part video this is 2 of 7 where they talk about stuff he adds into the originals.
BEWARE: Language in these videos gets bad. Don't watch if you'll be offended

Well, since Star Wars is George Lucas's story, I think if I had my own story, then I would want my audiences to view the latest draft of whatever the story is, especially if those older drafts don't match up with a prequel story I wrote to that story (yes, pretty dumb, I know). That could be Lucas's reason for removing previous versions of the movies from stock, although he could have just stayed consistent with the original Original Trilogy when he wrote the Prequel Trilogy to avoid all this revision mess (aside from restoring and remastering video quality). I agree that this is unfair to the fans that became fans because of the original theatrical releases. And you're right about Vader yelling "no" in both instances. I guess if it could be rationalized some more, then the "no" yelling is a character trait of the Anakin of the Prequels, so when he was Vader in the suit for the first time in RotS, he was still partially that Anakin. As time went on, he became the Darth Vader villain we all know. Then he went back to the light side in RotJ, became Anakin, and took on the Prequel's version "no" yelling trait again. It could be Lucas's attempt to show that Darth Vader of the Original Trilogy was the Anakin he established in the Prequels (in addition to the Hayden Christensen force ghost), which, as you have pointed out, most people aren't fond of.

And yes, RedLetterMedia's reviews of the Prequels are very well done. :D

No I couldn't put in to words my disdain for the prequels as well as he did.
