Where do I start hmm, I met the drummer of Def Leppard at LaGurdia airport back in 88. I've met Karl Mecklenberg and Ed McCaffery and Terrell Davis of the Broncos. My friend Gerome is backup guitarist for Switchfoot. My band played with P.O.D. and several occasions and we played with Switchfoot and Skillet long before they got famous. I've met alot of local Celebrities in my area. My son and I met the Governer of Colorado several years back and I've met Amy Van Dyken.

I work at a casino so we have lots of celebs and such come through. I had to break them down by category.

Musicians: Steven Pearcy of RATT, nice guy, but the partying has done a number on his face.
Pat Benatar and her band, she reminded me of my aunt, but she still looks good, and the band likes to party.
John Rich of Big & Rich, nice guy, way shorter than I had thought, but likes to tie one on.
Billy Dean (country singer), likes to play big or go home, but basically a regular joe.

Sports Announcers: Terry Bradshaw, loves to laugh, especially at himself.
Howie Long, kind of quiet, but enjoys laughing at Terry.
Jimmy Johnson, completely drunk and likes to throw his money around like a mad man.
Daryl “moose” Johnson, good guy , easy to talk to.
Joe Buck, goofy looking.
Troy Aikmen, decent enough guy.
Tony Saragusa, biggest whine-baby I have ever had the misfortune to meet, and cheap to boot.

Sports: A lot of Packers and Packer hopefuls come through.
Aaron Rodgers, excellent guy and easy to talk to.
Bubba Franks, nice guy, but doesn’t know how to play Black Jack worth a [poo].
Brett Favre, unfortunately. Side note, his brother almost got himself arrested for being a douchebag.
Mike Holmgren just after he left the coaching position at Green Bay. He is a really big dude.
Barry Alvarez, nice guy.

Not sure where I should put Jared the Subway guy, or the Miller High Life delivery guy.

The Sprouse Twins go to my college. I haven't met them yet, but if I run into them I swear I'm going to accidentally call them "Zack and Cody" and look like a fool.

Duel reminded me....I too met Bubba Franks on a flight to Miami. It was his rookie year and I didn't recognize him, but he was wearing a Packers leather jacket and is a big guy. So, I had to ask him if he played for the Packers, he said yes.I also met Ron Dayne and Drew Brees when I worked at Camp Randall on a particular day. I'm sorry for dippin" but I can't recall all of the people I've met until someone says something to remind me. I used to travel a lot in the past, so I spent plenty of times in airports and hotels. Once upon a time, I spent less than 30 hours a week at home. So bear with me if I "dip" again. :innocent:

Four questions in the topic's title.

Yes. Mikhail Baryshnikov. Somewhere in downtown Columbus, too lazy to check. 2003 or 2004.

I doubt most of you will know who he is though.

Panama and Duel of Fates, impressive.

[quote="Sir Bang"]I'm asking this because I had an extraordinary experience a couple of years ago. It was while I was part way through completing an extra curricular navigational-expedition that people my age often do in the UK, that my expedition and I just happened to meet actor Patrick Stewart who was staying at a countryside hotel which was on our route. Initially we didn't recognise him because he was wearing a hat, and also had a some facial hair; we thought he was a farmer or something, and we asked him to tell us how to open a lock on a farm gate which was blocking our path... and then we were all like, "oh, holy [poo] it's Patrick Stewart". We had a brief chat about what we were doing, where we were going, what school we were from etc and then we were on our way. He seemed like a very ordinary man, very kind. The whole thing was like a blur since the walk was pretty intensive, but it's something I'll never get. It's not every day you get to meet Patrick Stewart!

YOU [m'kay]ing MET PATRICK STEWART!!
