Where can I get an inexpensive mic or usb headset?

I am going to be looking at radio shack for starters. I lost my gaming headset and the guys were saying yesterday that calling a headset a "gaming" headset is just a way to mark up the price.

Yeah. they're kinda right. Don't be fooled, a headset (to me) is a headset. I've seen them from $1 dollar at the dollar store (a small plastic earpiece clip on, with a mike), to over a $100 dollars at Target and Best Buy. I've actually found a set at TJ Max for $10 dollars, (originally $69.00) it's a real nice set from Uniden and I still have it in the box, haven't used it yet. Shop around, there are great deals out there. I recommend Marshall's, TJ Max and other outlets.

I have a 70.00$ headset, but what the heck. Target sells great ones for about twenty bucks.

Depends on your budget.
I'm just saying, i'm loving the "Ozone oxid" so badly that when a few years ago mine broke down(snapped cable) that i bought the same one again.

Punch yourself in the groin. That stuff is about as far from inexpensive as you can get. Bothan, grab a 25$ headset from Target or Best Buy or whatever, those things are good enough and they always last me years. They're dependable as all hell unless you throw them against a wall or sit on them or whatever. Never done any of these things, mind you.

thanks everyone. I went with a 30 dollar logitech non usb headset. It sounds good its stereo and i can even listen to music on it and the sound quality isn't terrible.
