Right now I'm on ATT and it sucks to say the least, so I was thinking about maybe changing internet providers.
I was wondering what internet providers you guys are using and how you like them?

AT&T is also my Internet provider. Which service offered by them are you using that you don't like? I'm using the lowest DSL speed available. I would like it to be faster at times, but I'm getting what I paying for.

That's not really specific. If you're going to consider switching providers, at least look into any of the alternative services/upgrades AT&T has to offer before you do so. I mean, if you switch from, say, AT&T Dial-up to Verizon Dial-up, there's not going to be much of a difference.

I use AT&T U-verse Max for about $50 per month. It is fiber based and I'm less than 1 mile from the local switching office. The maximums are supposed to get around 12Mbps down and up to 1.5 upload. I get around 11.5 down and 1 upload. Games run fine.

Well, I pay it with my rent. Which isn't that cheap considering the size of the apartment relative to other available apartments in the area. :innocent:

On topic, the best internet I had in the US was from Comcast. The price was decent when TV and Phone are included, performance was good too.
I previously had Bellsouth DSL (part of AT&T), it had more stable connection but at a much slower speed compared to Comcast.

The best advise I can give is find info on each provider in your area, then compare their prices and performances.
