Beghazi is a disaster. It is the Blackhawk down of this administration.
Mistake#1 The potential threat on the ground in Libya on 9/11 was not given it's due
Mistake#2 BO's administration not move quick enough to help our people while it was happening
Mistake#3 BO's administration did not move quick enough to secure the scene once it was over
Mistake#4 BO's administration tried to put this off on a youtube video
Mistake#5 BO's administration continued on the campaign trail as the situation spun further out of control
Mistake#6 BO's administration assumed this would blow over
Listen, I don't fault this administration for what happened in Libya. It's an election year and they had other things on their minds, I get it. I also don't fault this administration for trying to blame this on a youtube video...nice try. It really shows how stupid you think everyone really is and you'll get no argument from me on that. I don't even fault the administration for trying to sweep it all under the rug and "let's move on, nothing to see here".
Here's what I fault this administration for, for being so goddamned lazy, slow and stupid in your EFFORT to cover up your mistakes. THAT'S what I find offensive. You're running a country in a very unpredictable world during an election year, [poo] happens, I get it. But when you screw up this bad and you make the decision to cover it up...do it right and do it fast. Don't insult everyone's intelligence and wander off to vegas, leno and letterman while the scene in unsecure. Secure the damn scene and get your hands on the paperwork on site BEFORE CNN does. You cut off your campaign engagements for a few days so you can "plan your response", aka - organize your coverup. You'll look good and presidential and plus you'll have control of the situation. The effort or lack of behind this coverup is what is so insulting to me. WD is 100% correct, Barack is lazy and has a very elevated view of himself.
When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic. - Ben Franklin
