It really didn't help the Tigers that they left their bats in their bags. They could have done better with toothpicks swinging at the balls...



On a better note, at least the Lions figured out how to pull their heads our of their backsides to come up with a win. Sunday wasn't all horrible.

True, guys like Prince Fielder really choked, but many people under estimated Giants pitching. It's the same pitching that beat Cincinnati and St. Louis this year, as well as Philadelphia and Texas 2 years ago. We have a full rotation of pitchers who would be 1 or 2 on almost any other staff.
