I had just gotten home from the Navy Base when that big earthquake hit. I couldn't stand up, stuff was falling down everywhere, and it sounded like a huge train was going right over my ceiling. All I could think was, "Oh [poo]! The fault line is gonna snap, the people on the east side of it are going to be rich in beachfront property, and I'm going surfing." The tremors lasted all thru the night. What a ride! Very scary!

I was at Candlestick Park in the upper deck when the quake hit. After the initial quake they were evacuating people, it was crazy having 20,000+ people trying to get down to the ground level but they did it pretty fast. We spent the night in the city at a friends house with no power or water, and yeah those tremors kept us up all night. That one I believe was a 6.9 but they say that being that it was more of a rolling quake it caused more damage, it caused section of the Bay Bridge to come down. Actually last year in an inspection they found stress cracks still in the bridge from the quake 20 years ago. Closed the bridge for two weeks.

I was not referring to a police officer, I was referring to myself.

I've seen hardened criminals wet themselves. They always seem to know when they are confronted with someone with very little left to lose.

Thanks WD.
