The trailer looks bad but the book is good so I think I will go and see the movie :)

Best book in the series IMO. Also they at least did a good job with the music in the trailer. And it looks like they included Tom Bandobil.

I heard it's being released in 3 movies? Can anyone confirm? Either way, can't wait for release!

Yeah it's supposed to be a trilogy. Doubt I'll be up at midnight to see it but that weekend is certainly earmarked for going to the movies :punk:

Quite the necro but.
I find it funny how suddenly in lord of the rings online instead of focusing the next "end-game raid-content" to Rohan(which is the latests expansion) we're going to do the raid more related to "the hobbit"
They must want some free publicity from the movie(s)
