Isn't it just an over-exaggeration or is there more to it?
Christmas? Or the attacks against celebrating it? If it's Christmas, well...
You know what it's about. Seriously, the attacks seem to grow ever stronger, to the point that any 'celebration' of it in any public forum is getting really bad. Stores have for many years now, been afraid to use the word 'Christmas', preferring 'Holiday Season' or 'Happy Holidays'...maybe because it has been so huge a season in America over the centuries, but we've become too diverse in culture latetly, that the asttacks have begun and are growing stronger. Pockets of stories all over. Basically, it and the right to display the U.S. Flag seem to be the subjects of the biggest assault. If a Muslim wants to bow on a prayer rug toward Mecca in the middle of a public park, I don't have any problem with it. To me it's the same as open prayer or displaying a Christmas Manger scene in public. To attack these freedoms, is, to me, an attack by the state on the Church/Mosque/Synagoge, etc. If it's peaceful, let it be.
