You all realize that all major televised media outlets are terrible sources for news, right?

it is very difficult to get unbiased and non factually twisted information from anywhere these days, whether the source be conservative or liberal.

I've been hearing Christmas music since before Thanksgiving. If there's a War on Christmas, it's going terribly.

It's not just that, but there's literally no substance to the story they regurgitate on the TV. If you look at TV back in the 1960s, the average sound bite played on the news was 42 seconds. Nowadays it's a little under 7. They've switched from emphasis on quality to quantity. Also, a network leeches off story of woe and violence in order to: 1) Increase viewers, and 2) Keep the viewers depressed and worried to make them feel as though they need to watch the news to stay protected. If our media were to be given a mental diagnosis today, it would probably be said to have ADHD, sociopathic tendencies, and sadism.

 here and there, I too, have heard the strange sound of actual Christmas music. Somehow, they have, thus far, escaped persecution...But that too will end...unless they substitute 'Christmas' for 'Holiday cheer' in the lyrics.

Depends on the Christmas song. I have heard a few that the words were changed. They are even doing it in schools, trying to take Christ out of Christmas songs. Bad form if you ask me.

Okay. So in schools, they're changing the lyrics of songs that have a very Christian bent. Because not all people who go to school are Christian. Because everyone still has to go to school regardless of their religion. What's the problem here again? Why exactly is changing Christian songs in schools such a crime, when if kids started singing songs of the Islamic faith you'd all [poo] enough bricks to build a new White House? There isn't a war on Christmas, we're just finally looking up and seeing "oh hey, a ton of other faiths have holidays around the same time, maybe we don't have to shove our values down their throats". Christmas is one of many, many holidays, and should be treated as one. And taking the Christ out of Christmas? [poo], I guess I and 90% of people I know shouldn't celebrate it, because we don't go to church that day. Aw shucks.
