I had an opportunity to work on a Tobbaco Farm back in the 70s for a summer. I visited the farm and was shown what was expected. It was expected I'd get up before dawn, ride a tobacco seeder during hot days, and do other chores into the evening. No pay. Just a free hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner along with an appreciation of hard work. I did not appreciate hard work at the time, so I passed. Do I regret it...hard to say. Depends what you want to gain from it. What's your goals doing it? Will it help you be a better person (sure it will, but what's your mentality?...you a Farmer type?). Do they have a hot daughter?...etc.
