Back after a week absence

Postby Matt-Chicago » Tue Jan 15, 2013 3:51 pm

I'm back again.
My seven week old son got the Flu so we spent the last part of last week in pediatric intensive care.
Good news is he handled it like a champ and will be just fine, and so I have a little more energy to participate in the forums now.

Glad that everything is ok. It can be scary when little ones get the flu like that.

Glad things are good now. Sons right, nothing scarier or make you feel more helpless than a sick kid. Get used to it :-|

Watch out MC, the most sick I've ever been is when Matthew passed it to me. Dude, I thought I was going to die. Little kids will take a virus and amplify it and then give it to their parents. Haha, Matthew gets mad at me now when he gets sick and I won't let him near me.

Yes, a sick child is scarier than anything in the world.. and MD -- Unfortunately Simon is still too young to know that getting mommy sick is dangerous (my body amplifies everything)... he's such a cuddlebug and I can't ignore it when he's sick.

Good to hear everything is back to normal for you all.

The flu and sickness bug has been running wild this winter over here in the UK also.
