Haven't read anything recently, but I read a ton of Discworld books a few months ago. Great series, highly recommend it.

I just finished "We Were Heroes", "Outlaw Platoon", and "American Sniper". These were all great reads. I think the best one was "Outlaw Platoon". Its based on a soldiers perspective of the war in Afghanistan.

I am currently reading 1984 and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. I like both of them but I much prefer 1984.

Let me know what you think of 1984. It definitely changed me a little.

Any Clive Cussler book, I recommend. I've read about 7 of them and every single one has kept me up a night when I need to get up early in the morning.

Same. He has a series called the Oregon Files, those books are probably some of my favorites by him.

How was American Sniper?

It was quite good also. I recommend any of the books in that list.

'Ghosts of Virginia'. Love spook and afterlife stories.

however, I heard that 'An American Horror Story' was good...and 'Mama'.
