I've tried playing NYC, and I have worse lag on NYC than I do on JBA. I may pop in from time to time on the newer, but for me the better playing experience is JBA, even with the damned crashes.

I usually just play whichever has more players, unless one has a predominantly better map *cough Tantive 1 Flag cough*

Yes I would agree there. This will however be a moot point in under a week as AoWC - our host - is changing their server hosting company which means new IP addresses and locations. I'll make a separate post about it.
