I believe you completely missed the point.

No. No I got his point. I just don't agree with it.

Maybe this adds to the flames

And this is in North Carolina, one of the easier gun friendly states.

Also, my CCW took 90 days and cost me over $250 to acquire plus I had to sit through an 8 hour class.
The woman across the street who has backed into every mailbox in our cul de sac got her license in one day at a cost of about $10.

A) Now i would like to see a comparison to stopped robberies with guns, and civilian shootings, see which prevents or creates more "casualties"

Well that's nice seeing as you stated how easy it is to get a license in the USA maybe it would be cheaper for me to buy a ticket and get it there.
Around these parts the cost of a license is around an average of 1000€ which translates to 1336.45$ alongside it being harder and harder making up more dumb questions noone is ever going to need while driving.
Anyhow's

Yeah, it was difficult when I was over there in the early 90's. I guess it's gotten no better?

I don't think the lady involved in that story would care much about any studies or statistics.

So basically your saying, "as long as me, my friends, and my family are safe i don't care"
I guess this would be the attitude till one of the 3 above gets into a shooting anyhows

We're not suggesting regulating or illegalising every item that could possibly be involved in mass murder, but, seeing as the majority of these crimes occur with the help of automatic weapons, we think it would be wise to have a discussion on how to preserve civilian lives, maybe using gun regulation, stricter background checks, and mandatory classes for the aforementioned purpose.

Many of you like to conjure up photos illustrating catchy slogans that you think constitute valid arguments. They don't. Screaming incessantly that they do because you don't know what the word "evidence" means does not exempt you from having to provide it.

Here is some evidence, written as early as a month ago that defines a not-so-difficult to identify loophole in the law: http://blogs.lawyers.com/2013/01/no-bac ... -gun-show/.
