you are dam right i'm legal and I have to pay [poo] loads of money for studying and being here... not that I think i'm better than anyone but I have to study so I can get out, work my ass off to pay that money back and one day, when I have a family, be able to feed my wife and kids, I mean putting food on the table or take them to the hospital and actually be able to pay bills. So yeah, I am legal here.

Only thing I did was to add my opinions and add some bits of this or that after some comments, but no er how "polite" you are, someone just comes and throws [poo] at you, like if you know how to read or if you are an illegal alien. Duel, I know you said "I don't want to jump on you but..." but really, it makes the conversation unpleasant. My comment was like "what has this world come to" that's all... basically, the throwing of all these little insults by pro gun and against gun people has killed this thread for good.

Your comment was that you did not even know about the 2011 Tucson shooting. You are jumping into this thread without even an understanding of the recent National events that have opened this argument.

You know what really makes this conversation unpleasant? Reading the biased, uninformed arguments backed up by "facts" and "news stories", and graphs of "info" that completely muddy the topic at hand.

I understand everyone wants a safer world where no one kills anyone else, kids are never sick, hunger and poverty are never seen, the environment is stable, jobs are plentiful, and everyone (even Narg) gets "some" on a regular basis. But anyone selling you on utopian ideals is blowing smoke up your ass. You cannot have an utopia by giving up your Rights.

yes you are right... I didn't know the name of the shooter from Tucson so I just blabbed that out without knowing he was the same guy from that 2011 incident. I just didn't feel like typing his name into google so various images of a mass killer shows up on my screen while i'm sitting in a public library. Imagine me sitting there and all the eyes looking on one side towards me.. Sorry about that though, but still, you are definitely confusing me with the rest of the people here. I have not said a single thing about facts regarding guns.. my only official opinion here is pages back, where I explained why I think what I think, which no one even cared to read or comment about.

and finally, when I gave my opinion, I was mostly referring to what I wish for my country, where having a gun is not a right. Just like Baily, I hope I have not offended anyone either.

And what good are guns in a hypothetical peaceful society again? Seriously, giving up your rights? Have your paranoia become so strong that you actually think that this is all about repealing the second amendment? Even with any new strict gun control measures in place, your right to keep and bear arms will still be there. You would just have to go through a little more bureaucracy. Is this what this is all about? Not wanting to go through a few extra steps to obtain the special guns you want? Yeah, because your second amendment right is totally being infringed due to your lack of patience...
