Any of you guys reload your own ammo?

Because of a lack of ammo in my area, I have started to really think about reloading. Any tips on set ups or other advice that you can think of that would help me in this would be great.

Every time we run out on 'the range'. It's called extra 'magazines' or 'clips'. Beyond that, I've no [m'kay] clue what you mean.

I've never bothered with it because I know it can be tricky. Everything I have is for self defense and I need it to work all the time. I would probably do it if I hunted though.

I've got a few thousand rounds of a couple different calibers in bags waiting to be rebirthed. Its a great money saver, for sure. I just haven't been able to find the time to shoot, let alone manufacture ammo

When I was growing up, we (my father and I) would reload shotgun shells for the twelve gauges. We shot a lot of trap and ammo was expensive. We rarely had any misfires, but my dad had a good reloader. I have a shelf of trophies to prove the rounds were good enough. :gunsmilie:

WD- when you're buying your own ammo, its about $15 for 50 rounds of 9mm. If you put out about $800 for equipment you can take out better than 50% of the cost per round.
