The thread started out as preparing for a doomsday event. The end of modern civilization as we know it. Hurricanes, stock market crashes, and earthquakes are not doomsday events. They are natural or man made disasters. It doesn't really take life experience to figure out the difference between the two.
You know what life experience does help with? It helps with not debating useless semantics to win an imaginary argument that does nothing but feed your (rightly) nonexistent ego, so shut the [m'kay] up and go play outside.
