Google doomsday and you get "end of the world" as the definition. This is like an astroid hitting the planet or the crust collapsing in on itself. (No Wulf I don't actually believe these things, they are just examples)

The thread started out as preparing for a doomsday event. The end of modern civilization as we know it. Hurricanes, stock market crashes, and earthquakes are not doomsday events. They are natural or man made disasters. It doesn't really take life experience to figure out the difference between the two.

You know what life experience does help with? It helps with not debating useless semantics to win an imaginary argument that does nothing but feed your (rightly) nonexistent ego, so shut the [m'kay] up and go play outside.

You're the one who came in to start an argument. I'm sorry if you're so shortsighted that you can't see the possibility of someone taking you up on that offer, but that's on you. If you want to pick a fight on the internet, then pick a fight on the internet - who the [m'kay] cares who wins or loses? It's a lot more boring to just be like "hue hue hue you're not worth my time" when it's nothing more than a bit of verbal sparring. And the problem isn't that you edited your post (though I would have made fun of you for it anyway), it's that you were actually clever and then you didn't have the balls to stick with that cleverness, instead changing it to a whiny, weak, useless insult. You should learn when you've actually done something well and when you haven't, rather than throwing bad effort after good.
