Religion doesn't seem so bad when you're comparing it to most dicators, such as pol pot, stalin, the maos, hitler, etc, who were all atheists. (Not that they did terrible things in the name of their godlessness, however)

Exactly. It's human nature to find reasons to kill each other, regardless of religion. If we were all atheists, we'd just be arguing about something else.

For starters, the WBC is not respected or affiliated with any other Christian church. They act on their own, and do not represent us all.

An atheist does not acknowledge the existance of the Devil, nor of him having invented anything, including the human concept of religion, which predates Christianity and the Devil. That being said, religion isn't evil; people are evil.
