Religion doesn't seem so bad when you're comparing it to most dicators, such as pol pot, stalin, the maos, hitler, etc, who were all atheists. (Not that they did terrible things in the name of their godlessness, however)

yeah, and I guess one could argue that all those dictators thought that they themselves were gods, making "themselves" a sort of religion. i guess it's all a er of differentiating which religions are harmless, and which ones are made for personal greed, power, etc..
