I've always been curious about the sort of things that happened back in 2005-2009 when WGO was rocking the SWBF stage. I was too young and dumb (or more so than now) to remember anything remotely interesting, but if any of the older crowd had the time I'd love to hear a couple stories or just wgo history in general; giant, fat paragraph form is preferred.

It seems this thread is off to a wonderful start.

but at least half of the people that posted so far are from the "older crowd", so why don't y'all write something? just to throw out an idea, and since we seem to like flaming, what were some of the more notable times in WGO when people flamed/got into large arguments about something?

I joined after WGO split. But what are you looking for exactly? War stories? If it's the history of why SWGO came to be after WGO split and some stories about old Admins and events, they are in the older threads somewhere.
